devem ser partilhadas e é sobre isso que quero falar hoje. Alguns de vocês
(principalmente os amantes de motas clássicas ou vintage) já deve ter ouvido
falar do evento à escala mundial, The Distinguished Gentleman´s Ride.
Anualmente,
desde 2012, milhares de motociclistas unem-se por uma causa nobre, passeando as
suas motos clássicas e antigas em centenas de cidades por todo o mundo. O seu
objetivo? Consciencializar e apoiar a investigação para a cura do cancro da
próstata e, mais recentemente, a prevenção do suicídio masculino. Os donativos
serão mais uma vez aplicados na Saúde Mental, através da Movember Foundation. a
maior organização mundial para a saúde do homem. Os fundos angariados serão
investidos em programas locais e globais de investigação sobre o cancro da
próstata e prevenção do suicídio.
Os
estilos de motos que participam no DGR são particulares e conferem ao evento
uma essência única: Café Racer, Bobber, Clássica, Tracker, Scrambler, Old
School Chopper, Clássica Moderna, Sidecar, Scooter Clássica e Brat Styled. O

. É importante que os participantes respeitem o guia de estilos e o dress code do
evento, para que este mantenha a sua autenticidade.

Funchal Ride irá se realizar no dia 24 de Setembro em consonância com outras
cidades, terá um percurso com passagem por duas cidades - Funchal e Câmara de

Good initiatives should be shared and today that is what I want to talk about. Some
of you (mostly classic or vintage scooter lovers) may have heard of the
world-wide event, The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride.
Every year, since 2012,
thousands of motorcyclists have joined together for a noble cause,
roaming their classic and old bikes in hundreds of cities around the
world. The goal? Conscientialize and support research for the cure of prostate cancer and, more recently, prevention of male suicide. Donations will again be applied to Mental Health through the Movember Foundation. the world's largest organization for human health. The funds raised will be invested in local and global research programs on prostate cancer and suicide prevention.
The styles of
motorcycles that participate in the DGR are particular and give the event a
unique essence: Café Racer, Bobber, Classical, Tracker, Scrambler, Old
School Chopper, Classical Modern, Sidecar, Classic Scooter and Brat
